Suffice to say that without a license you won't be able to enjoy the full benefits of our compensation, so it should be a top priority to get licensed ASAP. Set a schedule to study and pass your exam. Follow the steps below to expedite the licensing process.

If you haven't done so, register for your 52 hr Pre-Licensing Course by following the steps below:

The amount you will pay for the exam will depend on what type of location you select.
To schedule or reschedule an exam at a PSI Location
Once you finish taking the exam make sure to also complete your finger prints. DO NOT GO ELSE WHERE, doing so can delay your license.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Allow 24 hours for your information to be updated in the system before you're able to apply for your license. You'll need your test results paperwork to process your application, so do not loose it.
After you pass your exam it's time to apply for your license.
Once the documents are uploaded, they will be sent the appropriate partied and you will be cc'd. You will receive an automated confirmation from WFG Licensing. Please allow 48/72 Hrs for license to appear on their system
Complete the following courses to meet the prerequisites for getting appointed. You'll need to know your license number and National Producer #, obtain your National Producer Number here.

Before you can upload your AML certificate make sure WFG has received and processed your license. If they have not, you will not be able to upload your certificate.

GET APPOINTED
Independent insurance agents, like ourselves, typically represent a number of insurance companies, or "carriers", and sell the products that most appropriately meet the needs of their clients.
To become appointed with an insurance company or "carrier", is to receive official authorization from an insurance company granting an agent the authority to act as its agent and sell their specific products; without getting appointed, you will not be allowed to sell insurance.
